Inter and Paris Saint Germain appear to be at a stalemate in negotiations for Milan Skriniar but there is optimism that a deal will be found, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Parisians are making it clear that they will not just immediately bow down to what clubs ask for when they come knocking.

Contact is continuing between the two clubs and there is optimism on both sides that a deal will eventually be struck but it seems that it will take one side backing down slightly.

PSG are still sat at €60 million in terms of what they have offered and Inter are refusing to accept less than €70 million for the Slovakian central defender.

The player would not be upset if the move did not happen because he was never planning to actively pursue a move away from Inter.
