Inter have told Atalanta that they want €20 million and a buy-back clause for Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Nerazzurri are hoping to offload Andrea Pinamonti very soon but they want to do it on their own terms.
The deal appeared to have been agreed with Monza but they have since backed off and are chasing other targets first such as Andrea Petagna.
The player himself seems much keener to join Atalanta because Luis Muriel is leaving and there is a space opening up for him in the squad.
There had previously been thoughts that Atalanta will not meet the asking price but now it seems they will pay €20 million and allow a €30 million buy-back clause to be inserted into the contract.
It is now effectively a head-to-head between Atalanta and Monza for the signature of the 23-year-old.
