Inter youngster Gaetano Oristanio has vowed to do all he can for the fans after extending his loan at Volendam for another season, according to a report in the Dutch media.

Speaking during an interview with the media channels of his new club, Gaetano Oristanio expressed how happy he is to have joined Volendam last summer because it has led to him getting another season of first-team football under his belt.

“I am very happy to have met this club, the team, the staff and the management.”

The Italian attacking midfielder then added that he can’t wait to play in the top flight of Dutch football with his team and he vowed to do his best for the fans and the club.

“I will do my best for the team and the fans. I can’t wait to play in the Eredivisie.”

He spent last season with Volendam in the second division of Dutch football but the team that plays in orange was able to gain promotion to the Eredivisie.

That means that the young attacking midfielder will be able to take on teams such as Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord. This means that he will be tested at a higher level against better opposition.

The 19-year-old made 35 appearances in the second division last season and he managed to score seven times and get one assist.
