The links between Inter and Monza are continuing as the newly-promoted side are now chasing Roberto Gagliardini, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sportitalia, via FCInternews, Monza are serious about bringing another Inter midfielder to the club this summer.

They sealed the loan signing of Stefano Sensi just a couple of weeks ago and now they are back on Inter’s doorstep to see if they can do a deal for former Atalanta man Roberto Gagliardini.

He got minimal game time last season under Simone Inzaghi and when he did play, he failed to impress enough to warrant more appearances. It is thought that he would be open to a move but it is not yet clear if it would be a loan deal or a permanent transfer.

Inter could find themselves needing to sign another midfielder for depth if they do lose Roberto Gagliardini.
