Italian journalist Alessandro Austini believes that Paulo Dybala is still prioritizing a move to Inter and that other clubs would only be fallback options for him, with Roma his third choice.

Speaking to Italian news outlet ForzaRoma.info, Austini reported that the 28-year-old is still waiting and hoping that a move to the Nerazzurri can happen, whilst Napoli would be his second choice and then Roma.

There is no shortage of clubs interested in signing Dybala, with Inter still considering a move even though circumstances have made it unclear whether they will actually be able take the decisive steps to sign him or now.

Meanwhile, Napoli and Roma look to be the two main alternatives keen on keeping the Argentine within Serie A for next season.

Should a move to Inter decisively fall through, Dybala would then shift his priorities, but as long as a move to the Nerazzurri is potentially on the table, then this is what he is waiting for.

“Rome are interested in Dybala, of course,” Austini said. “His arrival would bring enthusiasm, and if Zaniolo were to leave then there would be no better replacements available.”

“But he’s waiting for Inter and Roma are the third choice,” he continued, “even after Juventus, where  he wanted to stay. But Napoli are also in contention and are in contact with his agent.”
