Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has held a video meeting with the agent of Inter-linked Paulo Dybala in which he has put forward some reasons why the player should join his club.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that De Laurentiis is hoping that the 28-year-old can be tempted by the prospect of Champions League football among other reasons.

The Partenopei are ready to put forward a contract offer to Dybala that is worth around €6 million net per season, equal to what Inter would be willing to offer, although they must also convince him that they are the right destination.

De Laurentiis emphasized to Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun that he would be at the centre of coach Luciano Spalletti’s project, and would play in the Champions League for the Partenopei, whilst he also noted that the city have always had a tradition of heaping adoration on top Number Ten players.

The issue of image rights was also discussed in the meeting between De Laurentiis and Antun, with this having historically been an issue in negotiations involving the Partenopei and the 28-year-old’s social media following not inconsiderable.
