Bundesliga side Freiburg are ahead of Cremonese in the race to sign Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume on loan next season.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 20-year-old looks likelier to leave Serie A than to make the switch to the newly-promoted team on loan next campaign.
Agoume spent the season just gone on loan with Brest in Ligue 1, where he enjoyed a regular spot in the starting eleven and showed better form with regular playing time than he had on loan with Spezia the season prior.
Now, the young Frenchman is in search of another loan club where he can continue his development within the senior game, and while Cremonese are keen, Freiburg look to be in a better position to sign him.
The player and the Nerazzurri should decide on his future along with his representatives in the coming few days.
