Roma coach Jose Mourinho has personally contacted Paulo Dybala to state his interest in bringing the Giallorossi.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Portuguese coach phoned the 28-year-old prior to his team’s 2-0 friendly win over Portimonense, and that the Giallorossi are serious about his signature in the event that he does not join Inter.

Dybala’s future remains very much up in the air, and Roma would be one of the main clubs looking at trying to sign him in the event that a move to Inter, which had at one point looked almost inevitable, does not come to pass.

Coach Mourinho would be a driving force in the capital club’s interest in Dybala, as he is a major admirer of the player, and has even spoken to him personally to tell him this.

One of the main stumbling blocks for the Giallorossi to try and sign Dybala would be the €6 million net per season wages that it could take to sign him.
