Inter CEO Beppe Marotta wants to bring in at least €25 million in combined transfer fees from the sales of Andrea Pinamonti and Valentino Lazaro this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the CEO regards the two players as key players to be sold in order to raise cash towards the financial target of a €60 million net profit during the transfer window.
Inter will not sell left-back Dalbert this summer due to a ligament injury which has left the Brazilian’s future up in the air, and so he will remain on their books with his status uncertain.
However, Lazaro is still expected to be sold, with the Austrian wanting a new permanent club rather than another loan and some interest in signing him.
The fee for Lazaro, plus that from a sale of Pinamonti who the Nerazzurri value at around €20 million, should come to around €25 million.
