Juventus are likely to move for Villarreal defender Pau Torres as their replacement for Matthijs de Ligt rather than Bremer, with the Brazilian on the verge of a move to Inter.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Bianconeri have lined up Torres as their designated replacement for the Dutchman who is set to be sold to Bayern Munich, and that it is Inter who will win the chase for Bremer.

De Ligt is getting closer and closer to a move to Bayern for next season, and the Bianconeri are looking to quickly replace the 23-year-old with a top-quality defender.

Bremer had been one of the main names on their list, but he seems to be out of reach for them as the Nerazzurri are almost done in negotiations for the 25-year-old’s signature.

Rather, it is Torres who they are now moving in on, with the Spaniard valued at €50 million, whilst the likes of Arsernal’s Gabriel, Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimbembe, and Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile are all also on their radar.
