Optimism is increasing between Inter and Paris Saint-Germain that a deal can get done on a sale of Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and PSG Sporting Director Luis Campos both believe that the talks are heading in a positive direction quickly.

PSG have yet to make an offer that Inter have been happy with in the talks for Skriniar so far, despite the French champions having strongly pushed to sign the 27-year-old who is a priority target for them.

This has led to some uncertainty as to the fate of the talks, with more than a week having gone by without an improved offer from the Parisians which has caused the talks to stall for a while.

However, the sense from both parties is the talks will pick up again soon and that a deal will be done to send Skriniar to the French capital.
