Empoli Sporting Director Pietro Accardi feels that Inter-owned striker Martin Satriano will be a good acquisition on loan for his club next season.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the Empoli executive noted that Satriano is a player who the Nerazzurri value highly, and expressed his happiness that the Tuscans were able to sign him on loan.

Satriano will get his first taste of regular Serie A football after shining with Inter’s Primavera team and then during the second half of last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Brest.

The 21-year-old has been considered to be one of the most promising youngsters within the Nerazzurri’s youth system for some time, with his time at Brest certainly confirming what he is capable of.

Empoli secured the Uruguayan on loan for next season as part of the talks that sent midfielder Kristjan Asllani the other way, and Accardi is happy with the signing.

“He’s a promising young player on whom Inter are counting a lot for the future, and we’re happy to have him in our team on loan,” he said of Satriano. “We strongly wanted to sign him.”
