Inter will hold another meeting with Torino tomorrow where they will make another offer for defender Bremer, as they are desperate not to lose out on his signature to Juventus.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air moments ago that the Nerazzurri will make another attempt to sign the 25-year-old after this evening’s meeting who still wants to join as he has long agreed.
Inter met with Torino this evening, where they made a formal offer which has been reported to be for around €30 million plus add-ons as well as a loan of young midfielder Cesare Casadei.
The Granata then reportedly met with the player’s representatives, where all parties considered not only the Nerazzurri’s but also the Bianconeri’s offer, which is higher.
Inter are well aware that they are at serious risk of losing out on the player and will immediately make another push to beat Juventus to his signature.
The Brazilian would still like to join Inter, however, and so according to Di Marzio, they are not yet out of the running to sign him.
“Tomorrow there will be another meeting between Inter and Torino,” he said, “they’ll try to make a better offer. Inter are doing everything they can to not to lose out in this head-to-head transfer battle.”
He continued that “Bremer will try to keep his promise to Inter. Juve haven’t yet definitively overtaken for him, it doesn’t look like Inter have resigned themselves to losing out on him to me, or like Cairo has decided who to sell to.”
“So Tuesday will be the decisive day,” Di Marzio predicted, meaning tomorrow. “With Juve formalizing their offer, while Inter could come in with a different bit.”
He explained that “The transfer battle continues, with Inter not giving up and Juve having the financial strength to present a higher offer.”
