Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has accepted the club missing out on the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer, but will be extremely frustrated if they fail to land Torino defender Bremer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach never considered the arrival of Dybala a priority but would consider losing out on Bremer to be a very unpleasant surprise.

Inzaghi had pushed for the return of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea as the first priority in attack this summer, and now that the Belgian is at his disposal he is perfectly fine with the attacking options he has at his disposal.

The Nerazzurri have still been working to sign the Argentine, but things have looked increasingly unlikely as they’ve failed to make space in their team by offloading attackers, while the player finally lost patience and chose to join Roma instead.

On the other hand, the coach has been expecting Bremer to be brought in, and given that he has already been anticipating building his defense around the Brazilian, he will be very upset if this doesn’t turn out to be the case after all.
