Inter wingback Franco Carboni will join Cagliari on loan and the Rossoblu will have a purchase option on the Argentine worth €7.5 million.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that the 19-year-old will join the Sardinians on a season-long loan move, which will contain a purchase option as well as a buyback option at around €1 million more for the Nerazzurri.

Carboni has settled on the Rossoblu as his next destination, with the young Argentine having been deemed ready to take the step into senior football.

Cagliari will give Carboni a chance to play regularly in the senior game after he shone with Inter’s Primavera team, and then they will have the option to buy him on a permanent basis for a fee of €7.5 million.

Should the Rossoblu exercise this option, the Nerazzurri will have a counter-option to immediately buy Carboni back for €9 million should they not wish to give up control of his future.
