Juventus believe that they have won the race to sign Torino defender Bremer and that they will have the Brazilian in their squad by Thursday.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Bianconeri are already confident that the 25-year-old can soon join up for preseason once they wrap up a deal with the Granata, and that they are also interested in Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic.

Juventus have worked quickly to try and hijack Inter’s deal for Bremer, and are prepared to make a superior offer to the €30 million plus add-ons and Cesare Casadei that the Nerazzurri are.

Accordingly, the Bianconeri feel that at this point their hands are firmly on the player, and they expect that he will be with their squad for preseason this week.

Meanwhile, Juventus are looking to sign another central defender in addition to the Brazilian, who they see as a Matthijs de Ligt replacement, considering captain Girogio Chiellini departed on a free transfer at the start of the transfer window.

Fiorentina’s Milenkovic is one of the Bianconeri’s main options, and they will soon get moving to try and sign him, while Villarreal’s Pau Torres and Arsenal’s Gabriel are also on their radar.
