Inter have now made extending the contract of Milan Skriniar their main priority for the summer transfer window, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

Reporting on his homepage, the SportItalia transfer market expert explained that the Nerazzurri would have been willing to sacrifice the Slovakian had they been able to sign Torino’s Bremer but that now their only priority is extending his contract.

Inter have been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for a sale of Skriniar, but the talks have dragged on as the Parisians have not raised their offer sufficiently for the Nerazzurri, whereas Bayern Munich acted very quickly to snap up Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.

The huge fee received for de Ligt allowed the Bianconeri to move for Torino defender Bremer ahead of Inter, and this has upended the Nerazzurri’s plans for the summer.

According to Pedulla, now Inter’s main objective is keeping Skriniar secure so that their defense is not weakened going into next season.
