Newly-arrived Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is hoping that his former Ajax teammate, current Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller, can have a speedy recovery from his diagnosis with testicular cancer.

Writing in a post on his Instagram story, as reported by FCInterNews, Onana sent a message to his former teammate, containing a picture of the two together while with the Dutch giants, simply reading “Stay strong, brother.”

Onana and Haller spent a season together in Amsterdam after Ajax signed Haller from West Ham United, but this was enough for the two of them to get to know each other on a personal level.

Both moved clubs this summer, with Onana joining Inter while Haller joined Borussia Dortmund.

However, the 28-year-old will not be able to make his debut for the Schwarzgelben for some time after it was discovered that he has a testicular tumour, something which Onana is wishing him a very quick recovery with.
