Inter Offer Fiorentina Defender Nikola Milenkovic A 5-Year Deal Worth €2.5M Net/Season, Italian Media Report

Inter are ready to offer Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic a five-year contract worth a net of €2.5 million net per season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have made the 24-year-old a priority target and are in talks with his agent Fali Ramadani to get a deal done.

Inter have missed out on Torino defender Bremer who has made the move to Juventus, but they are still keen to sign a defender to reinforce their backline.

Fiorentina’s Milenkovic has long been in their sights, and now they are accelerating their pursuit of the Serbian international because they want to ensure that a player is brought in to add quality to their backline for next season.

The Serb’s arrival would also be seen as potentially softening the blow in the event that Milan Skriniar is to be sold, although a departure for Skriniar is far from inevitable.

The club see Milenkovic as a player who could potentially replace Milan Skriniar like-for-like in the event that the Slovakian does end up leaving, as they expect that Paris Saint-Germain could still return with a big offer of around €65-70 million.

Talks have been underway with Milenkovic’s representatives, and his agent Ramadani has gotten the draft of a contract which would see the defender earn a net of €2.5 million per season.

The player has an agreement with his club that he will be let go if an offer worth €15 million arrives, and so the Nerazzurri expect that they will be able to sign him for around this amount.
