Inter striker Edin Dzeko is determined to stay at the club this summer and prove that he still has a part to play, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bosnian seemed as though he could be forced out of the club if Paulo Dybala had been signed.

Now that the Argentine has gone to AS Roma instead, the former Manchester City man has got a new lease of life in training. He is not under the impression that he can expect to be a starter now that Romelu Lukaku has come back, but he knows he can play a role.

He got 17 goals and 10 assists last season which means he is certainly a great option to have from the bench and in rotation during what will be a very demanding season. He could even force the club to give him a new deal for the following campaign.
