Former Juventus manager Fabio Capello has said that Inter have got the strongest attack in Serie A as it currently stands, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Fabio Capello had a lot of praise for the business that Inter have done so far in terms of how their attack is shaping up.
“Inter have strengthened, for now they have the strongest attacking department.”
He then explained that the reason he has these thoughts is the telepathic relationship that Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez appear to have given they have scored so many goals together before the Belgian’s move to Chelsea.
“Lukaku and Lautaro know each other inside out, they have played together and won together. The only unknown factor is the lack of someone like Perisic.
The decisive variable is the return of Lukaku, who has unparalleled power. He is unmarkable. And then there is Lautaro, already a striker who sees the goal as the Argentine often does: he will enjoy the fact that everyone will be preoccupied with neutralising Lukaku.”
Another positive to the Inter squad that he picked up upon was the good chance that Milan Skriniar will be staying at the club after the Gleison Bremer deal fell through.
“And then Skriniar’s permanence could mean another beneficial effect. Fewer unknowns for Inzaghi.”
Inter are likely to keep the Slovakian and try to make money at a different time.
