Young Inter forward Samuele Mulattieri is close to joining Frosinone on a loan deal, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio on his website, the Italian youngster could be turning out for Frosinone in Serie B next season.

He spent last season on loan at Crotone where he made 29 appearances and managed to score seven goals.

He had a more successful loan spell the season before with Volendam in The Netherlands. He got 18 goals in 30 appearances for the Dutch side who regularly take Inter youngsters on loan deals and give them the chance to play in another country.

The 21-year-old from La Spezia is now at the point of his career where he should be finding a team to settle into on a permanent basis and a successful time with Frosinone would certainly help that to happen as they may seek to keep him permanently.
