An intermediary of Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume has said that his meeting with the Nerazzurri regarding the Frenchman’s future went well, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking to reporters after emerging from the headquarters at Viale della Liberazione, as reported by FCInternews, Oscar Damiani did not give too much away but it seems that Lucien Agoume is getting closer to a loan move with Cremonese.

“It went well, it always goes well,” Damiani said.

When he was pressed on if it is the newly-promoted side that the midfielder will be joining, he said: “If he goes to Cremonese? No, no, talk to his agent.”

That then prompted reporters to ask the agent himself, Djibril Niang, for his thoughts on the possible deal. He remained extremely coy and refused to say if the player will even remain in Italy or head abroad, let alone focus on a specific team.

“Lucien’s situation? All OK. I don’t know if he stays at Inter or goes away on loan. Is Cremonese a good option? I don’t know. Better Italy or abroad? I don’t know.”

Lucien Agoume has had loan spells at Spezia in Serie A and Stade Brest in Ligue 1 before.
