Pro Patria have officially announced the renewal of their loan deal with Inter for Franco Vezzoni.

The Serie C side announced the deal on their website in an official announcement on Thursday afternoon.

The Argentinian winger made 20 appearances for the side last season as they managed to get into the playoffs and had a shot at making it to Serie B.

Unfortunately for them, they were beaten in the second round by Triestina but it was a positive season nonetheless. Given he has already spent a year with the team, they wanted to retain the left-sided player for another year and bring some continuity to him and the team.

He did not actually manage to get any goals or assists for Pro Patria last season but his ability to play in a number of different wide positions both in attack and defence made him important.

The club said of the renewal: “Already aware of the meaning and importance of wearing the bianco-blu jersey, after 20 appearances last season, Vezzoni is ready to continue his adventure with Pro Patria.”
