The debt that Inter president Steven Zhang has been ordered to pay does not affect Inter’s finances but there are fears that it could in the future, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the financial situation of Suning is starting to turn sour again and it could start to affect Inter.

A Hong Kong High Court recently ruled that Steven Zhang needs to pay €255 million to a Chinese bank and there could be more rulings like this coming the way of the Suning family.

Inter do not have anything to do with this money and it should not affect the club in any immediate way. It does however mean that Suning could start looking for money from elsewhere in order to redress the balance and that money could come from Inter.

They could certainly get their hands on a lot of money by selling Inter players.
