Fiorentina have named a price of €20 million for Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic who Inter are serious about signing, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, the Tuscan side have been clear about the fee that they would need to let the defender leave the club and it is slightly higher than was previously expected.

It had been said for much of the summer that it would take €15 million for Fiorentina to let Nikola Milenkovic go, given he only has one year left to run on his current contract.

That no longer seems to be the case and Inter need to decide if they want to spend that much money on a player that is essentially a backup rather than a starter.

There have been new contacts between Inter and Fiorentina in recent days which suggest that Inter have not walked away from that price.
