Five Inter players were absent from the squad that has travelled to France to take on Lens in a friendly on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Robin Gosens, Milan Skriniar, Alexis Sanchez, Roberto Gagliardini and Andrea Pinamonti will not be playing any part in the game against the Ligue 1 side that will take place at 18:30 local time on Saturday.

The team departed from Milan Malpensa airport on Friday afternoon but due to fitness concerns, Robin Gosens and Milan Skriniar will not be getting any minutes and they’ll be doing their own training to get fit.

Roberto Gagliardini is struggling with a foot injury at the moment so he was never expected to be part of the squad.

Alexis Sanchez and Andrea Pinamonti are both fit but given they should both be leaving the club soon, Inter are not risking them.
