Nikola Milenkovic can be signed as the backup to Stefan de Vrij but Inter may need to find someone to provide depth for Robin Gosens, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by Libero today, Inter are trying to make sure that they have an adequate amount of cover in each of the five defensive positions next season.
Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic can be the backup to Stefan de Vrij because he is adept at playing in the centre of the three rather than on the right or left, positions occupied by Danilo D’Ambrosio and Federico Dimarco as backups.
An area that Inter are lacking a serious backup in now is left wingback where Robin Gosens will be the starter. The signing of Raoul Bellanova as the backup on the right to Denzel Dumfries has pushed Matteo Darmian to the left.
A new player could be needed for that left side.
