Simone Inzaghi is now pushing for Inter to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina after having to accept that Gleison Bremer is not joining, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Inter coach is being very clear with the club about what sort of defence he wants to go into the new campaign.

He was very excited for Gleison Bremer to join from Torino but he has had to accept that the Brazilian defender has joined Juventus instead.

There is still the need for a new player even if Milan Skriniar stays at the club. There is a gap due to Andrea Ranocchia’s departure and the former Lazio coach wants the directors to sign Nikola Milenkovic to fill that gap.

There is also the factor that should Stefan de Vrij be sold late in the window, Nikola Milenkovic is good enough to take his place.
