The talks for Inter to sign Merih Demiral from Atalanta have been completely separated from the Andrea Pinamonti talks, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is too much of a difference in the valuations of the two players for them to both move as part of the same transfer.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has been very keen on the Turkish defender for quite some time and he is going to try and strike a deal that sees him join on loan with a right to make the deal permanent next summer.

The figures involved for that deal would be slightly higher than what is being discussed for Andrea Pinamonti to move to La Dea.

In both of the transfers, the key factors could be the formula of the deal and the timing at which the payments can be made.
