Inter want to make sure that if they sell midfielder Cesare Casadei to Torino this summer they retain control of his long-term future by having a buyback clause in his deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri value the 19-year-old at around €7 million but that the buyback clause could be important as they don’t want to lose a player of high value permanently as they did with Nicolo Zaniolo.

Inter remain in talks with the Granata for a sale of Casadei despite having missed out on defender Bremer, but a key point in the negotiations appears to be the Nerazzurri’s absolute insistence on a buyback clause for the midfielder.

In the case of the loan of striker Sebastiano Esposito to Anderlecht, the Belgians have a €10 million purchase option, but the Nerazzurri also have an immediate buyback clause worth €11.5 million should they not want to lose hold of him.

Meanwhile, defender Lorenzo Pirola’s contract has been renewed and he has been sent on loan to Salernitana who can make the deal permanent for €5 million, but once again the Nerazzurri have a buyback clause included in the deal, worth €8 million.

Inter do not want to give up their top young talents and then see the players’ value skyrocket at another club, as was the case when Zaniolo left to join Roma on a permanent basis as part of a deal for Radja Nainggolan in the summer of 2018.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri have made buyback options a big part of their demands for the sale of some of their younger players.

This has also been a feature of the negotiations with Atalanta for the sale of striker Andrea Pinamonti, in which Inter could well accept a slightly lower offer if it means that La Dea are willing to accept a buyback clause being inserted in the deal.

Meanwhile, young striker Martin Satriano has joined Empoli on a dry loan and a new loan club is being sought for young midfielder Lucien Agoume.

Lastly, young midfielder Valentin Carboni looks set to be part of the Nerazzurri’s senior squad as they head into next season, with the Argentine considered ready to have his chance to add depth in his position.,
