Inter’s interest in signing Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic remains, but they can’t afford to make an offer worth €18-20 million.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri continue to track the 24-year-old, who is also a target for Juventus, but that at the moment he is out of reach for them financially.
The Serb could be seen as a replacement for Milan Skriniar should the Slovakian be on his way, but at the moment Paris Saint-Germain’s interest has completely cooled in signing him as they are far away from Inter’s asking price.
Accordingly, for the time being signing Milenkovic would be next to impossible for the Nerazzurri, as the asking price placed on him would not be attainable for them with the present state of their finances.
Should the situation change, however, the Serb would certainly be a player in their thinking, and they continue to monitor him as a serious target.
