Young Inter striker Samuele Mulattieri is on the verge of joining Serie B side Frosinone on loan for next season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Serie B promotion hopefuls are on the verge of getting a deal wrapped up for the 21-year-old, on an initial loan deal containing a purchase option as well as a buyback option for the Nerazzurri.

Mulattieri returned to Inter following a loan spell with Crotone in Serie B last season, and a few teams showed an interest in the young striker’s signature.

Reggina were among the teams keenest to keep Mulattier in Serie B, but it looks to be Frosinone who have won the race for his signature.

The Lazio-based team will sign Mulattieri on an initial loan deal and will then have the option to sign him on a permanent basis, whilst Inter will have the option to immediately buy him back.
