Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic would not be averse to staying at his club this summer despite interest in him from Inter.
This according to today’s print edition of Florence-based newspaper La Nazione, who report that the 24-year-old would be happy to stay another season with La Viola, and that Inter are considering making an offer whilst Juventus have cooled their interest.
Milenkovic has been one of the main names linked with Inter on the defensive front, with the Serb having been identified as a player with the necessary quality to reinforce the backline for next season.
A summer exit is possible for the 24-year-old, but he will not force his way out of Fiorentina and would be happy to spend at least one more season with the Tuscans.
Things could depend on whether the Nerazzurri decide to turn their interest into a concrete offer to La Viola to sign Milenkovic.
