Sassuolo could be poised to make a move for Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti once they collect the fee from a big money sale of Gianluca Scamacca to West Ham United.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the Neroverdi are ready to reinvest part of the fee from a sale of Scamacca in Pinamonti, beating the competition of Atalanta and Monza for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Scamacca looks to be very close to departing for West Ham, and Sassuolo will bring in a significant cash influx for the striker.
The Emilian club will look to replace Scamacca like-for-like, and Pinamonti is one of their major targets in this respect.
Atalanta have been pursuing the 23-year-old for some time but have struggled to get a deal done as they cannot offer the Nerazzurri a fee close enough to the asking price, and the Neroverdi could swoop in and quickly wrap up a deal.
