Inter would consider lowering their asking price for €20 million to Atalanta for striker Andrea Pinamonti should La Dea agree to a buyback clause being included in the deal for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri want to insert an option to re-sign the 23-year-old for around €30 million before agreeing to let him join Atalanta.

Inter are ready to cash in on Pinamonti during the summer transfer window, but they still do not want to permanently lose control of the highly-rated striker’s future.

Accordingly, a buyback option could allow the Nerazzurri to still bring the 23-year-old back at a later time, and they are hoping to work out such an arrangement with Atalanta.

Inter have held firm on their valuation of around €20 million for Pinamonti, an amount which La Dea have not been able to reach, but with the inclusion of a buyback option the two clubs could potentially agree a deal.
