Inter are set to bring in a 30% sell-on fee in the event that Salernitana sell young striker Edoardo Vergini during the summer transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that there is significant transfer interest in the 21-year-old from teams in Serie B and that if Salernitana do decide to sell him, the Nerazzurri will stand to cash in on a sell-on fee as part of the deal.

Vergini came through the youth ranks at Inter, having joined the club’s youth sector from Monza in 2014, and then spent the season before last on loan with Bologna, where he played for both the Primavera and the senior team.

Last summer, Vergini joined Salernitana on a permanent basis, and as part of the deal the Campanian club agreed to a clause that 30% of the fee from any future sale of the striker would go to the Nerazzurri.

Now, Salernitana are thinking of selling the 21-year-old, who made a total of seven appearances for them last campaign between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, and with clubs in Serie B considering making an offer Inter could earn their sell-on fee already.
