Paris Saint-Germain have held firm on their stance of not wanting to meet Inter’s asking price for Milan Skriniar whilst the Nerazzurri have not budged on their valuation.

This according to French news outlet L’Equipe, who report that the talks between the clubs for the Slovakian’s signature are on standby as neither club look to have any intention of coming closer to the other financially.

Inter have made clear that they will not accept anything less than a very large financial offer for Skriniar, and whilst PSG had crept up in their offers, they have shown reluctance to go any higher since their most recent bid a couple of weeks ago.

Sports adviser Luis Campos does not want to overpay for the Slovakian, and so for now the Parisians have cooled their interest.

Skriniar is still a very real target for the French champions who could eventually decide to launch an improved offer, but for the time being their reluctance to come close to Inter’s valuation makes a deal unlikely.
