Salernitana have reached an agreement on a deal to sign striker Andrea Pinamonti.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Campanian club have found an agreement with the Nerazzurri on a deal, preferring him to other attacking targets including Brighton and Hove Albion’s Neal Maupay and Hertha Berlin’s Krysztof Piatek.

Pinamonti has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs both inside and outside of Italy during the summer transfer window, with the likes of Atalanta, Monza, and Sassuolo some of the teams keenest on his signature in recent weeks.

However, Salernitana could be the team to win the chase for his signature, as they are ready to agree a deal with the Nerazzurri quickly to sign Pinamonti ahead of the competition as the race for his signature heats up.

The Campanian club see Inter’s demands for the 23-year-old as more within reach than those for either Maupay or Piatek.
