Serie B side Reggina are working to complete a loan deal for young Inter midfielder Giovanni Fabbian.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air that the Nerazzurri have made the 19-year-old a target and could give him his first opportunity within senior football.

Fabbian was one of the standout players for Inter’s Primavera team which won the Under-19 championship during the season just gone, and now he is considered to be ready to take his first step into the senior game.

Reggina would be among the clubs keen on the 19-year-old midfielder, with the Calabrian team viewing him as a player who could strengthen their midfield for new coach Filippo Inzaghi, brother of Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi.

The Serie B outfit are currently working to complete a deal for Fabbian, and could look to wrap up his arrival on loan in the coming days.
