Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has told the club to leave the squad the way it is right now for the rest of the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach feels that the way the team currently looks will be enough to succeed next season and that he doesn’t want it touched beyond minor pieces of business.

Inter’s transfer window is not finished as they still have some outgoings to attend to including offloading fringe players and completing an anticipated sale of striker Andrea Pinamonti.

However, in terms of the main players in the starting eleven and regular backup and substitute roles, Inzaghi feels that the right balance is there, and he has no intention of dealing with the disruption of an important player leaving at this stage of the transfer window.

In terms of new arrivals, a low-cost defensive reinforcement is expected and the coach wants to see such a player brought in to complete the squad in terms of depth, but apart from this he wants things left as they are.
