Inter will hold contract extension talks with Milan Skriniar in the next few days as they aim to lock down the defender’s future amid the interest of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea in his signature.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri want to secure the 27-year-old’s future so as to avoid any nasty surprises and lose him.
Skriniar’s future had at one point looked to be far away from the Nerazzurri as PSG pressed for his signature, although for the time being the French club’s interest in him appears to have cooled down significantly.
However, Chelsea are also in the picture and could reignite their interest as they search for one more top-class defensive signing to complete their backline after having already snatched Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli earlier this month.
The Nerazzurri are planning to keep hold of the Slovakian, and given that his current deal expires at the end of June 2023, it has become very important to extend with him.
