Inter have turned down an offer from Atalanta for a swap deal between striker Andrea Pinamonti and defender Merih Demiral on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have no intention of making a deal involving such an exchange.

Pinamonti continues to hope for a move to Atalanta for next season, whilst La Dea have made the 23-year-old a major target, but as of yet they have not been able to make Inter an offer that has been sufficient.

The Lombards’ latest strategy has been to try and offer a loan swap involving defender Merih Demiral, a player who is on the Nerazzurri’s radar to strengthen in defense after they missed out on signing Bremer from Torino to Juventus.

However, Inter have flatly rejected this idea, leaving La Dea to think about returning with a different offer that could convince the Nerazzurri.
