Former Inter striker Federico Bonazzoli has made the move from Sampdoria to Salernitana on a permanent basis, with the Nerazzurri set to receive a 20% sell-on fee from the deal.

The deal is confirmed by Salernitana’s official site, which announces that the Campanian club has purchased the 25-year-old permanently for €4.5 million, whilst the sell-on fee is reported by Calciomercato.com.

Bonazzoli joined Sampdoria in 2015 after having come through the Nerazzurri’s youth academy, and as part of the deal the Nerazzurri included a sell-on clause that they would receive 20% of any future sale of the striker.

The 25-year-old has been out on loan several times throughout his time as a Sampdoria player, but last season’s spell with Salernitana proved to be the most successful as his ten goals helped the Campanian club to improbable survival in their first season back in Serie A.

The Granata have made the deal a permanent one for €4.5 million, with the Nerazzurri receiving just under €1 million as a sell-on fee.
