Options for Alexis Sanchez to leave Inter this summer appear to be running out as Marseille and Villareal have both distanced themselves from a move, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the Chilean forward is continuing to work hard in training at Appiano Gentile but there are not many clubs working hard to sign him this summer.

Inter are willing to give him €5 million of severance pay to break his contract but the rest of the money that he is expecting to earn at a new club will have to be provided by that club.

He is determined to play in the Champions League again next season rather than head to MLS, the Middle East or back to South America. Marseille and Villareal were both in the picture but they have since taken a step back.

He will not be part of the team in the friendly against Lyon.
