Inter have set a €40 million price tag for Denzel Dumfries amid renewed interest in the Dutchman from Chelsea, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInternews, the Nerazzurri do appear open to selling Denzel Dumfries this summer but only for the right price.

Inter only signed the Dutch wingback from PSV Eindhoven for €13 million last summer but he had a very successful first season with Inter once he settled in and now they want a much higher amount to relinquish control of him.

They will listen to offers of €40 million but that could be a risky strategy. More clubs than just Chelsea are interested in signing him and the fee is not so high that it would completely deter clubs.

It would then leave Inter with a very short amount of time to make sure they are covered in that area of the pitch.
