Inter target Nikola Milenkovic has got an uncertain future as Fiorentina are trying to offer him a new improved contract, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Tuscan side are going to do all that they can to keep Nikola Milenkovic at the club.

They are wary of the fact that they either need to sell him this summer or get him to sign a new contract as he could leave for free next summer.

The new agreement that they have put on the table for the Serbian would see him earn up to €3.5 million per season starting from the upcoming campaign. The deal would run until 2025 and keep him as the highest earner in the squad.

There is still a gentleman’s agreement in place so that if a team like Inter makes a reasonable bid. Fiorentina will not stand in his way.
