Salernitana have given up hope of signing Andrea Pinamonti from Inter and will now move on to other attacking targets, according to a report in the Italian print media.
As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Campanian team were seriously in the running for Andrea Pinamonti and had agreed on a fee for the Italian striker with Inter.
It seems that the player himself is not keen on the move though and he wants to join a team higher up the Serie A table rather than one that is expected to be in a relegation fight.
They will start to look at other targets now such as Krzysztof Piatek who is also being chased by Borussia Dortmund, Neil Maupay from Brighton and Hove Albion, and Sam Lammers from Atalanta.
That means that Atalanta are likely the only team seriously left in the running to sign Andrea Pinamonti as it stands but they must sell players first.
