Sampdoria have emerged as another club that would like to sign Inter youngster Cesare Casadei this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Torino are no longer the team in Serie A that are serious about signing Inter’s Primavera star.

He had a highly impressive season under Christian Chivu last year and helped the Nerazzurrini to the Scudetto. Torino wanted to sign him as part of the deal for Gleison Bremer to head to Inter but the Brazilian ended up going to Juventus as part of a cash deal instead.

Both Torino and Sampdoria are two of the sides that have been the least active this summer. Torino coach Ivan Juric was recently filmed in a heated dispute with sporting director Davide Vagnati.

Many presume the row was about the lack of movement in the window but Cesare Casadei could change that.
