Simone Inzaghi can be happy that it seems Milan Skriniar is getting further and further away from leaving Inter this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, no one is hiding the fact that Milan Skriniar would only be sold at this stage for economic gain rather than as part of any sporting strategy.

That is why Simone Inzaghi is so desperate for the Slovakian to be kept as part of the team as he is central to the project that the coach has got in place.

He was one of the best performers last season and there is no reason why he cannot be that again in the new campaign.

Neither Paris Saint Germain nor Chelsea are currently looking like they are going to meet Inter’s asking price but it cannot be ruled out that late bid will come in to test Inter’s resolve.
